Language Arts and Math

Laying a good reading foundation during a child's Kindergarten through 2nd grade years is very important! By going over letter sound correlation and sight words/ high frequency words daily, the students will begin to have the tools necessary to read well. Reading daily and often is also key. By sitting down, reading a book, reading signs around town, flyers, etc. can allow your child to practice and expose them to new words.

Math is an important skill that will be used throught life. Like reading, it is very important to start off with good foundation skills. By reviewing numbers, number order, shapes, basic addition and subtraction facts, and any topic that your child's homework contains will help your child develop the skills needed for their success.
